The search for the Miami Dolphins' next Quarterbacks Coach has finally come to an end.

After losing Nathanial Hackett to the Arizona Cardinals and being blocked from interviewing Bruce Gradkowski, Miami's new head coach, Jeff Hafley, has finally settled on his new quarterbacks coach.

According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, the Dolphins are expected to hire Mississippi State associate head coach Bush Hamdan as the team's QBs coach. Hamdan joined the Bulldogs coaching staff back on December 10th. He will now join a Dolphins offensive staff led by OC Bobby Slowik.

Hamdan, 39, played quarterback collegiately at Boise State during the 2004-2008 seasons. In recent years, he served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Kentucky Wildcats (2004-2005) and Boise State Broncos (2023).

Additionally, Hamdan spent three seasons in Missouri under HC Eli Drinkwitz, serving as the team's QBs and WRs coach (2020-2022). His lone season in the NFL was back in 2017, when he served as the QBs coach for the Atlanta Falcons. During that season, Matt Ryan ranked sixth in passing yards with 4,095.

Hamdan will now look to get the most out of a room that could see big changes this offseason.

Tua Tagovailoa will likely be traded in the coming weeks if the right suitor comes calling and Miami takes on a large share of the deal.

Without Tua, that leaves second-year QB Quinn Ewers asMiami'ss lone QB on the roster.

Ewers started three games for the Dolphins in 2025, completing 66.3% of his passes for 622 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
