US first lady Melania Trump has chaired a meeting of the United Nations security council on children and education in conflict, two days after her husband, Donald Trump, and Israel launched attacks on Iran that prompted a UN warning about child safety. The UN event happened days after Iranian state media reported that an airstrike killed at least 165 people at a girls' school in southern Iran. Melania Trump did not comment on reports of strikes on the Iranian school. 'The US stands with all of the children throughout the world. I hope soon peace will be yours,' she said
