The NFL never stops. While the league's set of games is just over four months long, the NFL's calendar, including the offseason, is 12 months out of the year, and news almost 365 days a year. The Cleveland Browns are less than two weeks away from being able to start offseason activities, with the 2026 NFL draft now less than a month away.

NFL free agency has been a busy one for Browns GM Andrew Berry. While the additions on offense and defense haven't been the big names at quarterback or wide receiver, Cleveland's roster has seen upgrades in a variety of places.

There are still a large number of players from the Browns 2025 roster on the free agent market, and a slew of former players are also bouncing around the league. On Tuesday, we got an update that DT Shelby Harris plans on continuing his career and is visiting the New York Giants:

Veteran DL Shelby Harris is visiting the #Giants today, sources say. The 11-year veteran, still going strong after playing all 17 games for the #Browns last season, is an option for John Harbaugh & Co. to add experience up front on defense. pic.twitter.com/0tuceG1w3o

With the addition of DT Kalia Davis, it is likely that Harris' time in Cleveland is over after three seasons. With the Browns, Harris accumulated 97 tackles, four sacks, 18 tackles for loss, 13 QB hits, and 11 passes defended if 48 games with 25 starts.

He also high-fived the official after Myles Garrett broke the single-season sack record.

On Tuesday, we also found out that former Cleveland QB Joe Flacco was staying in the AFC North, back with the Cincinnati Bengals:

Flacco was traded to the Bengals after being demoted in favor of Dillon Gabriel last season. With Cincinnati, Flacco threw for a ton of yards (1,664) in nine games, six starts, but the Bengals were 1-5 with the veteran QB under center to start the game in place of Joe Burrow.

Also, former Browns WR Elijah Moore, last with the Buffalo Bills, is signing on with the Philadelphia Eagles:

The #Eagles aren't done adding, signing WR Elijah Moore to a 1-year deal, source said.

Highlighting that a bad Cleveland team, which was behind a lot in 2024, targeted Moore 100 times is an interesting decision. Moore caught exactly half of the passes thrown his way (61 of 102) for 538 yards and one touchdown. A career low, 8.8 yards per catch.

Moore also only played in nine games last year with the Bills, catching nine passes for 112 yards.
