We are almost in the month of April which means one thing to NFL fans - the draft is coming. The 2026 NFL Draft is right around the corner, starting on April 23rd.

The Dallas Cowboys have two picks in the first round of the draft which is a nice luxury to have, even though it means missing out on Micah Parsons wreaking havoc every Sunday during the season.

Dallas has been busy filling some of their holes in free agency, re-signing players like RB Javonte Williams and EDGE Sam Williams. They also brought in some outside talent like EDGE Rashan Gary, S Jalen Thompson and CB Cobie Durant.

Even with their activity, they still have plenty of holes to fill. Especially on defense.

We wanted your opinion on which position should the Cowboys use their #12 pick on in the first round, without the context of what happens in front of them in the draft. Basically, which position is the biggest need?

Cowboys fans were somewhat split. Middle linebacker was the top pick with 37%, followed by cornerback at 30% and edge rusher with 27%. Based on that, the Cowboys just need to pick the best defender that comes their way.
