New York Jets News: Former Jets quarterback Chris Streveler retires at 31

Good morning Gang Green Nation! Former Jets quarterback Chris Streveler announced his retirement from the NFL yesterday. Despite lacking the talent to succeed at the highest levels, Streveler somehow managed to carve out a three year NFL career, culminating in his 2022 season with the Jets. In his final NFL campaign Streveler even managed to start a game for the Jets, completing 10 of 15 passes for 90 yards. Perhaps more memorable were his preseason exploits for the Jets in 2022, when he was somehow nearly unstoppable in leading the Jets scrubs to improbable victories. Nobody will ever confuse Streveler with a stud quarterback at the NFL level, but he was so much fun to root for in an otherwise dismal 2022 Jets season.
