The 2026 NFL Draft continues to creep closer to its beginning - with the annual selection process kicking off on April 23rd. The Miami Dolphins hold two first round picks this year - starting with pick number 11.

On Monday, one of the draft's premier defensive backs - cornerback Mansoor Delane out of LSU - will visit with the Miami Dolphins. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that visit will carry over into Tuesday as well.

The Dolphins are in the midst of a significant rebuild, so nearly any position makes sense to target for their two first round selections - with cornerback being a major need on the team's roster. Miami's two top corners from the 2025 season remain free agents - Rasul Douglas and Jack Jones. However, new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has been busy this offseason shopping the bargain bin for additions - adding Darrell Baker Jr., A.J. Green III, and Marco Wilson to the team's cornerback room.

Those signings would not keep the Dolphins from selecting an elite prospect like Delane if he were to fall to Miami's slot at number 11, however it remains to be seen if the team will even get a crack at the former LSU product, as his pre-draft process has been a stellar one - including a 4.38 second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day.
