Colts reportedly ‘very high’ on TCU LB Kaleb Elarms-Orr ahead of NFL Draft
According to Essentially Sports Tony Pauline, the Indianapolis Colts are very high' on TCU linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft, among other interested league teams:
Kaleb Elarms-Orr of TCU and Trey Moore from Texas are receiving a lot of positive chatter in the scouting community and could end up being selected higher in the draft than most presently predict," writes Pauline.
Elarms-Orr is a pure off-ball linebacker whose game and draft stock have taken off over the past nine months. Entering the season graded anywhere from the late rounds to the middle of Day 3, Elarms-Orr turned in a terrific senior campaign and then stood out in pre-draft scouting events such as the Senior Bowl and combine. He's cemented himself as a Day 2 pick and could slide into the initial 60 picks."
TheIndianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos,Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, andMinnesota Vikingsare very high on Elarms-Orr and ave interviewed him through different mediums since the Senior Bowl."
The 6,'2", 234 pound senior linebacker (with 31.5" arms) recorded 130 tackles (60 solo), 11 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, and 2 passes defensed during 13 starts in 2025-earning First Team All-Big 12 honors.
He has a RAS of 9.33 out of a maximum of 10.0,showcasing his high-end athleticism.
Here is his NFL.com draft profile:
OverviewElarms-Orr is a well-built linebacker with above-average athleticism but problematic instincts. He has the speed and athleticism to get to the football from sideline to sideline. However, he frequently struggles with recognizing blocking schemes and too often loses track of play development. He's rangy but average in zone coverage, with talent as a blitzer worth continued exploration. He will need improved processing but should dial in as a backup with a full-time role on special teams.
Of course, one of the Colts biggest roster deficiencies right now is at starting linebacker, where there's a large hole alongside current projected starting veteran linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither, who was signed earlier this offseason in free agency, to help replace departed fellow veteran starters Zaire Franklin and Germaine Pratt.
While the Colts have no first round pick, Elarms-Orr could make a lot of sense with their Round 2 pick at Pick #47.
This is what they're also saying on Elarms-Orr:
Kaleb Elarms-Orr had some strong reps in coverage. Doesn't allow any of the RB dancing to fool him and showed enough long speed to go stride for stride on a vertical route pic.twitter.com/iBjglHVQ7u

Ideal athletic profile (4.47s 40, 40" Vert) with the size to function as a Stacked linebacker. Fluent in pattern-match coverages; uses smooth, controlled angles to carry receivers vertically and spaces route layers with high-level processing.... pic.twitter.com/YQuH5UXpQB

Super quick in run support, had 130 tackles and 4 sacks this past season, high football IQ, and rarely misses tackles. Has the makings to be a very productive starter in the league. pic.twitter.com/uo0zt7keWi
