NFL owners recently voted that Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LXIII in February, 2029

Can the Las Vegas Raiders host the game at Allegiant Stadium? They are beginning another rebuild, but they have three seasons to get it done.

We recently asked our readers if they think the timeline is realistic. About 80 percent of our poll takers do, indeed, think the timeline works for a Raiders' Super Bowl run.

I agree. Three seasons is realistic for every team to put it together and there is hope with the Klint Kubiak-Fernando Mendoza. Time will tell if this will work, but there is time to get it done.

Here are some of your responses:

Roger ThatMy personal take is that's the year we're shooting for with the rebuild - the 2028 season (2029 SB). That's if everything stays on track. The Maxx trade back didn't help, but otherwise everything we're doing points to 2 years to the playoffs, 3 to the Super Bowl. We could get lucky and make it to the playoffs this year, but as I've been saying here on the board - patience is a virtue.
NunchucksIf the Raiders keep doing what they are doing, then absolutely yes they can win a home Super Bowl...Kubi, Mendoza, Linderbaum, Jeanty, Bowers, Crosby, Dean, Walker and Paye are a great start...LFG!!!SBPB4theCrashSure. But will it be Kubiak's second, third or fourth Super Bowl?
RaiderDieHard92In three years, anyone can be in the Superbowl. Seriously, todays NFL things can happen quick. Teams catch lightning every year. Teams like the Lions and Commanders from two years ago. Last season the Patriots who went from worse to first.

Which makes things entertaining. its why I laugh when the talking heads talk about personnel moves and they say things like this team isnt ready to compete anytime soon". As if we all havent seen teams have one great draft, FA, and the right mix of players/coaches to make a surprising push within a year or two of being putrid. TooManyPasswordsIAlwaysForgetThis is generally true for most teams, but there are some teams, like the Raiders, where they haven't been as close as 3 years away for 25 years. But I happen to believe this is the first time since they last made the Super Bowl that they have as much a chance as anybody else the next 3 years.YeeeaaahhhhhIt's possible. I think team would have to punt rebuild and go 2 timeline and keep Maxx and Miller throughout that run. Only way to justify that move would be for the team to play beyond expectations this season under Cousins and cause team to pause on Maxx this next offseason. Then a flawless transition to Mendoza and a playoff push in his first full season would have to have us as bonafide contenders heading into Mendoza 2nd full season causing a pause on Miller the offseason before a Super Bowl run. Luckily TEs in Bowers, don't demand as much in extensions. Extending both Bowers and Lindy, while also having Crosby and Miller on the books is where money gets dicey. All seems a lil far-fetched, but who knows I'm no nostradamus
YeeeaaahhhhhI still think we have a so so season under Cousins. No playoffs and Maxx is traded this next offseason. Possibly Miller as well. That's a more practical prediction that would have our rebuild moving right along. Signing Cousins is a clear signal that this regime is in no rush. That Super Bowl is just a way to fatten Mark's fast fattening pockets and nothing else. Allegiant Stadium has been the best investment ever for Mark. He's raking it in, several concerts and events per month.SnB Stop the RunThree years out? They should be a playoff team. Thats about all that one can predict.

I wouldn't put Super Bowl or bust on any team unless they are a veteran team, with a top QB and a cap heavy roster in need of pruning.
RaidwinIf all the stars align?. Yes, anything is possible. Just want to see this year play out first to make a wager on how likely it is.
