Jaguars answer the biggest question after NFL schedule release
The Jacksonville Jaguars unveiled their 2026 regular-season schedule on Thursday night, along with the rest of the league. But while the video answered when the Jaguars would be playing each of their 17 games, it raised one big question:
Did they really cut quarterback Trevor Lawrence's trademark hair?
If you have not seen the video, it features the quarterback sitting down in a barber's chair while his long hair is slowly trimmed away, revealing a Lawrence unlike any we have seen before:

The video touched off a firestorm on social media, with fans around the league wondering if the quarterback truly sacrificed his trademark locks in the name of content.
However, you can now rest easy knowing that it was a wig, and not Lawrence's actual hair that was cut in the video. The Jaguars released a follow-up, behind-the-scenes video breaking down how the release came to life:

Jacksonville opens its season on Sunday, September 13 at home against the Cleveland Browns.
And Lawrence should have his long hair when that game kicks off.
