Giants' Abdul Carter reverses course after calling out Jaxson Dart for introducing Trump
Evidently, the media is simply guilty of blowing another story way out of proportion - at least that seems to be what New York Giants linebacker Abdul Carter wants us to think.
Not even half a day after appearing to call out fellow 2025 first-round draft pick Jaxson Dart for introducing President Donald Trump at a campaign-style rally on Friday, May 22, Carter seemed to backtrack and indicated all was well between himself and his team's quarterback.
"Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep yall narratives," Carter posted to his verified X account, identifying Dart by his initials and jersey number, on Saturday, May 23.

It was a stark reversal from the morning, when Carter reposted a video of Dart heralding Trump at an event for Republican Rep. Mike Lawler in Suffern, New York.
"(T)hought this (expletive) was AI, what we doing man," Carter wrote on X Saturday morning.
Dart spoke briefly during the rally. He came onto the stage with "Eye of the Tiger" blaring in the background before speaking for about a minute, then turning the mic over to the president.
"Big Blue nation, it's a pleasure to be here," Dart said, before leading the crowd in the Giants' "Go, Big Blue!" chant. "What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here and, without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump."
Trump, who has been openly supportive of new Giants coach John Harbaugh, was complimentary of the team's quarterback, too.
"I want to thank Jaxson Dart," Trump said. "This is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book. Thank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent."
Neither Dart nor the Giants has said anything publicly in the 24 hours since the rally, though right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor claimed, "Locker Room is fine," on his X account Saturday.
