Last week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans which nationally-televised game onthe 2026 schedulethey're most excited to watch.

Nearly half of the respondents chose the Week 14 home matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Beyond the fact that this is the only 2026 primetime game that will be played at EverBank Stadium, the Jacksonville-Pittsburgh rivalry is as storied as any in Jaguars history.

The Jags have played the Steelers more than any other team outside of their own division, and while the regular season series is split 13-13, the good guys emerged victorious in both postseason battles. Those 2008 and 2018 playoff wins - both in the Steel City - are among the franchise's most iconic. The last time these teams played, Travis Etienne had a career-long 56-yard touchdown catch and Andrew Wingard got the game-clinching interception. The Black & Gold brings back good memories for Duval County.

This season's matchup is setting up to be more of the same. Do we really expect Mike McCarthy, Aaron Rodgers, T.J. Watt, and Jalen Ramsey (in what will be his first game back at the Bank since 2019) to be much of a threat in the year of our Lord 2026?

The Jaguars' sole home primetime game is coming against a longtime rival with a fragile roster. What's not to get excited about?
