If it's all up to Von Miller, he will definitely be playing for someone in 2026.

And he already has a team in mind he'd like to join.

Miller, the eight-time Pro Bowler and active NFL sack leader (138.5), said Wednesday night in Colorado at an event for his charity that he'll for sure" play for somebody, according to ESPN.

He also said, according to the Worldwide Leader, he has pushed to join the Sean Payton-led Broncos. So far, though, his free agent period has been quiet."

I lobbied, I do lobby, I lobbied publicly, privately, so I lobbied," Miller said. I think there's no question the type of environment I bring to a locker room, I think there's no question to the type of environment I bring to a team.

I don't want to pat myself on the back, but at 37 years old, I can still roll out the bed and still rush the quarterback. I'm still a great guy in the locker room, I bring great energy, I make sure everybody is ready to go."

Miller spent last season with the Commanders, and even at 36, he still was a force in the pass rush with nine sacks and 26 total tackles. His 36 pressures last season ranked 53rd out of 115 edge defenders, according to Pro Football Focus.

His best and decorated years, however, came in Denver, where he not only won Super Bowl 2016 but won the game's MVP as he helped pitch a defensive masterclass against Cam Newton and the Panthers.

During the middle of the 2021 season, the Broncos shipped him to the Rams, with whom he won a second Super Bowl. Miller then spent three seasons with the Bills before his one season in Washington.

Yeah, yeah, I'm playing, I'm playing for sure," Miller said. I had nine sacks last year. ... I'm not on my last flame, this year, hopefully I'm not in my last year, but if it is, I want to go out showing guys what I got."
