The G Pro X Superlight 2 has a maximum sensitivity of 32,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 500 IPS and can handle up to 40 G's of force. It has a lightweight plastic shell with a smooth, soft-touch finish, and five programmable buttons. The primary buttons feature Logitech's Lightforce hybrid mechanical/optical switches, which are tactile and clicky (and somewhat loud). One of the coolest retro gadgets you can buy during Prime Day is back on sale. We love this Hagibis 3.5-inch IPS monitor. It's a tiny retro desktop hub that also doubles as a second display for your PC, back down to its lowest-ever price.

This is both a real second monitor and a desktop hub. In terms of ports, you get an SD and TF card slot, USB-C port, two USB-A ports, HDMI, and 3.5mm audio. The display is a 3.5-inch IPS display with resolution ranging from 800 x 600 to 2,560 x 1,600, with 960 x 640 the optimized resolution. In terms of style it looks like an old-fashioned CRT monitor, and is a super nifty $80 impulse buy.

We love a good PC component bundle at Tom's Hardware, and this one is a banger. Right now, you can get an AM5 bundle that combines a B850 motherboard, Ryzen 5 9600X CPU, and a 1TB 990 Pro SSD for just $429. Now, at Newegg's listed prices, that makes the 990 Pro free, because the motherboard and CPU are worth more than the overall cost of the bundle. In reality, you can buy them separately for $337. As you can see from our testing data the 9600X performs on par with Intel's Core i5-12600K in multi-threaded performance, but beats the Core Ultra 9 285K in 1080p gaming. To that end, this is a pretty capable gaming CPU that would make the solid foundation for a budget or mid-range PC build. Not every monitor has to be 4K (according to my GPU) - sometimes you just want a solid 1080p monitor for under $100. Which Dell's SE2426H normally is, as it retails for $99.99, but right now you can get it for even cheaper as it's currently on sale for $75.99 at Amazon - the lowest we've ever seen it go.

This 23.8-inch IPS display features a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and support for AMD FreeSync. It also comes with two HDMI ports. View Deal

This 23.8-inch monitor sports a full HD IPS display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle. It's not quite a gaming monitor, but it does support AMD FreeSync and it has a fairly speedy 144Hz refresh rate. The screen, which features a matte finish, gets up to 300 nits of brightness and has a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It features two HDMI ports on the back, as well as a security lock slot. The slim bezel means it will look sleek on your desk and give you plenty of screen real estate. And, well, it's $75.99 - at that price, you might as well get four! - Sarah

There are so many gaming mice, most with specs that far exceed the needs of most gamers. So I chose something with style that caught my (ageing) eye, 8BitDo's Retro R8 Mouse with Charging Dock. This Nintendo Entertainment System-inspired mouse is all about nostalgia on the outside, with its black, gray, and red color scheme and round red side buttons.

But the appeal goes deeper than looks. 8BitDo went the extra mile (or two) by designing a weighted charging dock (with its own NES-like touches) and a spot for the 2.4 GHz dongle. This is the kind of extra feature that's more common in mice that cost three times as much.

The nostalgia of this mouse's design is nice. But it also sports a 26,000 DPI sensor, 4K polling, and a really nice charging dock that also houses the 2.4 GHz dongle. If you're in a pinch or just not gaming, Bluetooth is also supported. View Deal

Under the hood, you get a decent 26,000 DPI sensor and 4K polling (plenty for us older, non-esports gamers), and an ambidextrous design with a pair of side buttons on either side, and a ratcheting, rubberized scroll wheel. The side buttons, which are concave and also nicely clicky, took a little getting used to for me. But they are also so distinctive that now I miss them while using other mice.

If the NES theme isn't your thing, the company also sells a translucent-green Xbox version, as well as a champagne-hued C64 Edition. And the mouse is, of course, designed to complement the company's similarly themed mechanical keyboards. - Matt Safford

There's a lot to like about this build, but the 5090 is definitely the star of the show. As per our testing data, this is the best gaming GPU on the market, and will chew through any 4K game with ease thanks to its 32GB of VRAM.

Future

The 9800X3D is the best gaming CPU on the market. It is technically not as fast as the 9850X3D, but in terms of power draw this is much better, making it our top choice overall. Plus, the 9850X3D's gains are so marginal. The GPU and RAM are worth about the cost of the this entire built, so this is definitely a good option if you want a PC you can buy now and use for five or even 10 years without upgrading. - Stephen Warwick
