Josh Allen has proven himself to be quite the dynamic playmaker and dangerous weapon with both his arm and his legs, as Allen is the only player in the long, storied history of the NFL to amass at least 200 passing touchdown and 50 rushing touchdowns.

And in ESPN's survey of league executives, coaches and front office scouts, Allen emerged ahead of his chief AFC rival, Patrick Mahomes, to claim the honor of the league's best quarterback.

He's the most singularly unstoppable player at the position when you get his A-game," one GM said in Jeremy Fowler's story. And he has cut down on the turnovers the past two seasons."

In the rankings, Allen is given plenty of credit for cutting back on his turnovers-he's averaged eight interceptions per season the last two years after averaging 15.7 picks per season from 2021-23) and his fumbles are down, too-12 in 2024-25 compared to 20 in the 2022-23 seasons.

You live with him and die with him," an NFL coordinator said. You can't get mad at him because he won a lot of games for you with a similar style and he was so good."

In each of the last three seasons, Allen has accounted for at least 25 passing TDs and 10 rushing TDs, becoming the first QB in NFL history to accomplish that feat.
