Andrew Withworth chimed in on the Aaron Donald news and seemed to imply (or more than imply) he would be back if he were AD's age. Whitworth is 44, AD is 35. Now, would Whitworth come back if he were Whitworth or is Whitworth saying he'd comeback if he were Donald right now?

It's confusing I know. Either way, Whitworth will not be coming back to the Rams this year. That's a fact. Donald might. That's up in the air.

What is not up in the air is that we made it to another Friday. Well done. You deserve a couple days off. Please comment on whatever you want, and thank YOU! For checking out Turf Show Times!

Ex-Rams tackle says he'd unretire if he were Aaron Donald (ramswire)

FormerLos Angeles Ramsoffensive tackle Andrew Whitworth has beena staunch supporterof Aaron Donald's return to the NFL. And while he doesn't know for sure if his ex-teammate will rejoin the Rams in 2026 to play with Myles Garrett, the 44-year-old toldthe Bleav Networkhe would unretire if he were Donald to play on this team.

If I was his age," Whitworth said, there's no question I'd be coming back."

Not only did adding Myles Garrett make an impressive Los Angeles Rams roster even better, it will immediately make everyone else's life easier. That's why his teammates are excited to take the field alongside him: they know that the looks they're about to see, with offenses focused on Garrett, will set them up for individual success. That's whatadding the best defender in football does.

The only defensive starter who was on the team when Donald retired after the 2023 season is linebacker Byron Young.

Looking at the roster more broadly, the Rams have only four players left from the team that won Super Bowl LVI to cap the 2021 season: tight end Tyler Higbee, tackle Alaric Jackson, center Coleman Shelton, and quarterback Matthew Stafford. Every defensive player from that team is gone (including, for now, Donald).

Only six remain from the 2023 roster, with the four listed above, offensive lineman Kevin Dotson, and defensive tackle Larrell Murchison.
