Light, maker of the stripped-down Light Phones (previously recommended), today announced the Light Flip, a clamshell model that swaps e-ink for matte OLED and gets a hinge, a keypad and (drum roll!) a camera. As much as I loved my Light Phone II, the slow and frustrating e-ink screen ground me down; with OLED, the main tradeoff for responsiveness and clarity will be shorter battery life. - Read the rest
