After ESPN ran it's top 10 player positional rankings, we asked our community members in a FEED post how long they think it will take Las Vegas Raiders' rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza to be considered a top 10 quarterback in the NFL.

Our options were 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 or later or never.

The winning category was 2028.

That's a fair timeline, in my opinion. It may be a little premature, though, especially if Mendoza doesn't play at all or much as a rookie which is reportedly the team's plan.

The NFL is fairly strong at quarterback. So, cracking the top 10 is tough and it's challenging group to be part of. I mean, the 11th best quarterback is very good. So, it could take a young quarterback three or four years to make this list.

But Mendoza is clearly a talented player who is capable of being a top 10 player. If the readers are right and he makes this list by 2028, the Raiders will be great shape for a long time.
