For many NFL fans, it's time to make sure they punch their NFL Sunday Ticket.

For the fourth consecutive season, the package of all Sunday out-of-market National Football League games not broadcast on local TV stations will be available on YouTube TV and YouTube.Affordability has become a buzzword, but there's some good news as most NFL Sunday Ticket plans don't cost more than last season.

The 2026 NFL regular season opens Wednesday, Sept. 9, with a rematch of Super Bowl 60 - the champion Seattle Seahawkshosting the New England Patriots - broadcast nationally on NBC starting at 8:20 p.m. ET. The next night, Sept. 10, the Los Angeles Ramsface off against the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, in a game to be broadcast on Netflix, starting at 8:35 p.m. ET.

NFL Sunday Ticket becomes a must-have with the start of regular-season Sunday games on CBS and Fox starting Sunday, Sept. 13. Later, Sunday Night Football on NBC and Peacock at 8:20 p. m. ET, carries the Dallas Cowboys at the New York Giants. Then the first Monday Night Football game of the season pits the Denver Broncos against the Kansas City Chiefs on ESPN and ABC at 8:15 p.m. ET.

New subscribers may save some money this year by signing up early. Students, current military personnel and veterans, first responders and teachers can get NFL Sunday Ticket at a discount. New and current Verizon customers can get deals on NFL Sunday Ticket, too.

Here's what you need to know.

How to get YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket

There are options if you want to subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket. You can get it as a standalone service on YouTube or as part of the YouTube TV live streaming service, which has more than 100 live networks including local ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC channels, as well as favorites such as AMC, CNN, ESPN, Fox News, FS1, MS Now, NBA TV, NFL Network, Nickelodeon, TBS, TNT and USA.

Between now and Aug. 31, new subscribers can also get a discount onYouTube TVwith NFL Sunday Ticket. Note: Most viewers will have the option to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket in up to eight monthly payments. However, viewers in Colorado, Maine, Utah and Wisconsin will see the option to purchase in only up to four monthly payments.

Here's the breakdown:

• NFL Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV:New YouTube TV customers can currently get NFL Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV for $240 or eight monthly payments of $30. That's in addition to the price of a YouTube TV account, which for new users is a discounted $67.99 per month for the first three months (a savings of $45), then $82.99 monthly thereafter (offer that expires Aug. 26). Returning customers with YouTube TV pay $378 or $47.25 monthly (same price as last year).
• NFL Sunday Ticket without YouTube TV:You do not need YouTube TV to watch NFL Sunday Ticket; you can purchase a season pass throughYouTube Primetime Channels. New NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers pay $240 (or 8 payments of $30) and get their first three months of YouTube TV at $67.99 (a savings of $45). Returning NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers on YouTube pay $480 or 8 monthly payments of $60 for the season pass (same price as last year).

Regardless of choice, you can also include NFL RedZone, a live TV show that tracks all of the Sunday afternoon action in real time. Subscribers to any plan can add NFL RedZone for an additional $42.

Is there a student discount for NFL Sunday Ticket?

Yes. Students can get NFL Sunday Ticket for $119 for the season and NFL Sunday Ticket with NFL RedZone for $129.To subscribe, follow the prompts from theYouTube site.

Are there NFL Sunday Ticket discounts for others, including military and veterans?

Yes, veterans and those currently in the military, plus first responders, medical personnel and teachers can buy the NFL Sunday Ticket for $198 or get it with NFL RedZone for $42 more. Seethe YouTube sitefor details on how to sign up.

Free NFL Sunday Ticket deals from Verizon

Verizon has several ways to get a free NFL Sunday Ticket season pass on YouTube. You can purchase a new eligible 5G phone and activate it on or upgrade to an Ultimate or Ultimate Plus plan. You can also get NFL Sunday Ticket free by switching to Fios Home Internet or another select premium Verizon Home Internet option.

Current Verizon customers with Simplicity mobile plans or Verizon Home Internet can get NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube at a discount - $234, or the NFL Sunday Ticket with NFL RedZone streaming bundle for $276 (offer good through Sept. 2).

Through Aug. 9, Verizon customers can also enter for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid 5-day trip to Paris to see the Oct. 25 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints. Enter via the Verizon Shine loyalty program online and in the My Verizon app. Check back on Verizon Shine during the NFL season as the telecom provider will have free daily drops for football fans.

Other streaming services with NFL games this season

With the NFL Sunday Ticket and a cable, satellite or fiber TV provider that has local channels, you will get most of the games this season. However, Amazon Prime and Netflix have games, too.

• Amazon Prime: The streaming service will have 17 games, including 15 Thursday Night Football games (one on Christmas Eve and another on New Year's Eve), a Black Friday game on Nov. 27 (Denver Broncos vs. Pittsburgh Steelers) and a Wild Card playoff matchup (Jan. 16 or Jan. 17).
• Netflix: In addition to the Sept. 10 Rams-49ers game in Australia, the streaming service will have four additional games, one on Thanksgiving Eve (Nov. 25 with the Green Bay Packers vs. San Diego Chargers), two games on Christmas Day (Packers vs. Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. ET, and Buffalo Bills vs. the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. ET) and an as-yet-to-be-determined Week 18 game on Jan. 9, 2027.
• NFL Network:Available on most TV systems, NFL Network is also available as part of the NFL+ streaming package (starts at $39.99 per year). The network will broadcast six Sunday morning NFL International games, starting with the Oct. 4 game in London between the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders. The network will also carry two Week 16 games on Saturday, Dec. 26 at 4:30 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET (teams to be decided later).
