The Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals met up today for a joint practice at Kettering Health Practice Fields, and it sounded like each number-one offense had some explosive moments. We'll have the practice recap later this afternoon, but in the meantime, feel free to discuss that and anything else in this Open Thread (Rated WCG-MA).

Quarterback Caleb Williams met the media after practice, and he hit on a variety of topics, but he was asked how he would assess his individual performance.

I think I've done a good job taking the coaching, taking the hard coaching, good coaching, whatever the case may be. I think that's how I'm judging it. Just being able to go out there and execute, and you know there's going to be mistakes and things like that, but it's being able to go back into the film room, learn from them, and then when it comes to game day, when it comes to all of that, we're executing on a high clip."

Middle linebacker T.J. Edwards also met the media after practice, and one of the questions he was asked was to explain what Kyler Gordon means to the defense.

I think Kyler's one of the best nickels in the game. I really do. I think when he's on the field, he changes the game. His ability to blitz, his ability to stop the run, his ability to cover when needed, play the pass. He does it all, right? And I know he's working his butt off, and I talk to him every single day, man. He's just itching to get out there. So you know, we'll be ready when he gets back, and we know who he is when he's on the field."
