San Francisco 49ers WR Mike Evans to practice next week

San Francisco 49ers WR Mike Evans (adductor) will practice next week, according to 49ers GM John Lynch on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Huddle Up: Evans has a little more than a week until the 49ers' regular-season opener in Australia, but the murkiness of this injury couple with Evans' advanced age and only playing eight games last season has fantasy managers a bit spooked. His fantasy football draft stock is falling day by day, so perhaps he could be a bit of a value on draft day if his adductor injury is something Evans can work through and gut out. That said, he's more of a fantasy WR3 right now rather than the locked-in starter he's been for the last dozen seasons.
