Broncos vs. Jaguars: Week 2 Live Discussion

DENVER, COLORADO - DECEMBER 21: Bo Nix #10 of the Denver Broncos looks to pass during the third quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Empower Field At Mile High on December 21, 2025 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) | Getty Images

The Denver Broncos will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in their home opener. They are coming off an embarrassing performance last week and the Jaguars were the one team that manhandled Denver last year. This will figure to be a very tough game for the Broncos to win and they'll need to completely flip the script and play actual good football to avoid an 0-2 start to the season.

Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on CBS. The game will be called by Ian Eagle (play-by-play), Ross Tucker (analyst), and Evan Washburn (sideline).

Broncos vs. Jaguars score predictions

It's doom and gloom in Broncos Country after one bad game and they may very well lose this one too given Sean Payton's track record in September. That said, I think maybe they might be a little pissed off by the way things went down on MNF to open the season and they'll come out here and punch the Jaguars in the mouth on Sunday giving all the doomers a week to think about how silly their overreactions were after one game.

Broncos 30, Jaguars 16.

A good response by Denver's defense there after the turnover was negated.

Didn't let an unfortunate play impact the next set of snaps. Was one of the keys the guys mentioned in the locker room last week.

Broncos got a little bit going at the start of that drive with two tight ends, but the two downfield passes to Jaylen Waddle on the drive for incomplete and Denver punts for the third time.

Poor pitch. Badly blocked. Wattenberg and Powers were slow off snap. Defender waiting for Dobbins, leaving him to reverse field for a 1-yard loss. Davis Webb let loose an expletive. Can't be considered a great offensive line and not score from the 1-yard line. #Broncos trail 7-3...
