New York Giants vs. Los Angeles Rams Monday Night Football betting odds, picks and predictions: Best bets, player props

Week 2 wraps with the New York Giants flying cross-country to take on the Los Angeles Rams, who've spent a fair amount of time on a plane recently.

L.A.'s task is to prove that their failed turn-and-burn trip to Australia was nothing more than a season-opening obligation, and not a signal that the buzz the Rams carried through the offseason as the Super Bowl favorite was ill-founded.

On the flip side, New York won as a short home underdog, but you'd think by the way many were surprised by that win over the Cowboys that it was an earth-shattering upset.

With two drastically different results in their lone data points, Monday night sets up as a case study of how to measure a quick change in perception.

New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (-6.5, 47.5)

While planners might be able to skip this week's meeting, the Super Bowl parade down La Cienaga set for February doesn't need to be cancelled entirely just yet. The Rams are still rated as one of the top teams, just not the clear-cut best in the NFL.

While that's merely a reasonable correction away from the preseason hype, the Rams were almost unrecognizable in Australia, against a good 49ers team that was lying in wait. With plenty of time to think about it, and returning home for Monday Night Football, even if Puka Nacua (questionable) were to miss the game, we should expect the Rams' best effort - even without Myles Garrett and potentially Nacua.

The Rams proved they can survive without Nacua, pummeling the Jaguars in the game he missed last season. Meanwhile, when it comes to comparing to last year, there isn't a hole the size of Garrett's 2025 production, but Jared Verse's, until the fully-healthy version of the 2026 Rams comes together.

The Giants were riding maximum vibes at home last Sunday night, but a 28-20 win over the Cowboys looked a little too easy on offense. Coverage breakdowns opened up Isaiah Likely for an eight-catch, 78-yard night, a touchdown drive was built almost entirely on swing passes to Devin Singletary, and the Cowboys offense played without urgency or connection. Even without their ideal roster, we should expect the Rams to execute on another level on both sides of the ball.

Bet on the Los Angeles Rams to cover the spread at sportsbooks

New York's rating got boosted with a win as a home underdog. Between that and some newsworthy injuries to the Rams, a point spread that would have been -9.5 ahead of Week 1, has fallen to a point where -6.5 is widely available.

Bet: Rams -6.5

Player props

Jaxson Dart over 19.5 pass completions (-120, Bet365)

The Rams know what Dart wants to do: Hand off to Cam Skattebo and get outside of the pocket to make plays.

Look for the Rams, without Garrett but with cameo appearances from Aaron Donald clogging the interior, to squeeze Dart in the pocket and make him look for short and intermediate targets. If the Rams are able to get out to a lead, that only accentuates Dart's need to throw, and L.A. will keep those numerous attempts in front of them, keeping the yards per completion down.

Malik Nabers under 65.5 receiving yards (-113, FanDuel)

Nabers was able to shake off concern over his surgically repaired knee to catch six passes for 69 yards, but that was against the Cowboys' defense.

Dallas wasn't much better against the Commanders on Sunday, but had a massively high-leverage play at the end of the first half, where Washington came away without both points and Jayden Daniels for the rest of the game. That kept their issues from making the Giants' Week 1 production look less impressive, but the Rams, with new cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson are better equipped to keep Nabers in check.

RB Blake Corum over 47.5 rushing yards (-113, FanDuel)

It's too early to expect an exchanging of roles in the Rams' running back pecking order, but Blake Corum was the only entity who didn't look like he was still asleep over the Pacific in the opener, running for 5.4 yards per carry after going for 5.1 YPC in 2025. Getting 10 carries in a game they trailed throughout is the floor for Corum's usage, so any number under 50 yards is worth a look at the over.

TE Tyler Higbee over 1.5 receptions (-106, DraftKings)

With Nacua banged-up, and his primary backup Jordan Whittington ruled out, Sean McVay's grabbing the tome marked "13-personnel" off his playbook shelf, and blowing a modest amount of dust off it.

Tyler Higbee only played 12 snaps in Australia, but in the Rams' only game without Nacua last season - a blowout win in England versus the Jaguars, by the way - Higbee had a season-high six targets.

TE Terrance Ferguson longest reception, over 15.5 yards (-120, Bet365)

Expectations were high in Week 1, but Terrance Ferguson had only one target. However, he played 50% of the (relatively few) Rams' offensive snaps, and lined up on the outside for 40% of them - the highest of any tight end in Week 1.

Like much of the Rams' production, Ferguson was a victim of a bad day down under, but his skillset still suggests that eight of his 11 regular season receptions going for 18+ yards last season makes him a dangerous down-field target.

Anytime TD scorersQB Jaxson Dart (+245, Bet365)

On the road, we like a young quarterback to, when in doubt in the red zone, just tuck it and run for the goal line.

Despite 11 rushing attempts, Dart was held out of the end zone against the Cowboys, in part because his handoffs and three touchdown throws were so easy. There should be less time and space at SoFi Stadium.

After taking over as the starter last season, Dart scored a rushing touchdown in seven of 12 games (58.3%). While we wouldn't suggest that those implied odds of -140 are fair for Dart to score going forward, this is a good enough price to bite on.

WR Malachi Fields (+500, Bet365)

Quick - which Giants' pass-catcher played the most snaps in Week 1?

The name above probably gives it away, but the rookie out of Notre Dame was on the field for 72% of the action, second to only Dart.

A big target and willing blocker, Dart could look in Malachi Fields' direction, while the Rams are paying close attention to Isaiah Likely and Nabers.

RB Blake Corum (+200, DraftKings)

With the possibility of no Nacua, the Rams could keep things simpler in the red zone.

Why not bet on nominal starter Kyren Williams to score?

Five of Corum's six touchdowns in 2025 came from Week 13 on, outscoring Williams. However, you have to lay as much as -190 on Williams, and you get paid out at 2-to-1 if Corum scores. Considering they essentially split carries in Week 1, with Corum the more efficient and explosive option, we'll try the "No. 2" option.

TE Colby Parkinson (+290, Bet365)

If the Rams get back to being the Rams, Matthew Stafford's going to throw touchdowns, and look for his favorite targets while doing it. Last season, Parkinson scored eight times, in seven of his 13 games played. He was also the clear lead-dog from the tight end room in Week 1, with 77% of the snaps played.
