The San Francisco 49ers released wide receiver Dante Pettis from the practice squad injured reserve with a settlement, per Aaron Wilson.

A couple of changes to Thursday's injury report. Trent Williams, Dre Greenlaw, and Christian McCaffrey all returned in full after having their typical rest day on Wednesday.

Running back Kaelon Black practiced in full after missing Wednesday's session with an illness.

Upton Stout was wearing a non-contact jersey. He's listed as limited.

It might be a stretch to call it a setback, but Mike Evans missed Thursday's practice as he battles through a rib injury. It may not matter in the grand scheme of things if Evans plays this Sunday, but we'll track his participation all year.

Evans ran on the sideline in full uniform. He also spoke to the media in the locker room, which is usually a good sign for a player's availability on Sunday.

Those were the only changes from Wednesday. Mykel Williams was limited for the second straight day.

Nick Bosa, Marques Sigle, Kyle Juszczyk, and James Thompson all missed practice. Bosa was seen working on the side of the field. Perhaps a return before the bye week is in the cards
