The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with the injury bug. Specifically, the wide receiver room has been hit big time with the short-term IR trip for Michael Pittman Jr. and the news of a potential multi-week absence for Roman Wilson, who was primed to take on a bigger role with Pittman Jr.'s injury. The Steelers pivoted to feeding Jaylen Warren, and that will continue, according to Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy.

The big opportunity is in place for rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard. For just the second time in his NFL career, Bernard played over 75% of the snaps with a 92% snap share on Sunday and turned nine targets into six catches for 80 yards and 13.33 yards per catch. McCarthy praised Bernard, saying football comes easy" to the rookie and that he's acclimated very well to the offense and can play all three receiver spots.

Bernard has a chance to make his mark on the league, and it starts against Tampa Bay.
