Rams K Blake Grupe left SoFi Stadium with crutches and a brace on his leg

The Rams signed kicker Blake Grupe after Week 5. They'll be signing another kicker after Week 6.

Via Arash Markazi of The Sporting Tribune, Grupe left SoFi Stadium with his leg in a brace and on crutches. It was a result of Grupe's effort to make a tackle on a kickoff return.

The attempt took courage, especially since he's listed at 5-7 and 156 pounds. (Which could mean he's actually shorter and lighter than that.)

Either way, the hit will apparently end Grupe's time with the Rams. The next question is whether they'll bring back Harrison Mevis or look elsewhere for help.

And that's far from the biggest of the problems the Rams have. They're 2-4 after six games, and they're getting closer and closer to having too many losses to qualify for the postseason.

Can they heat up? Yes. Will they? We'll find out, one game at a time.
