The Chicago Bears got the win, but it didn't come without a loss.

That loss came in the form of tight end Cole Kmet, who was carted off the field late in the fourth quarter on "Thursday Night Football" against the New England Patriots.

Kmet went down on a third-down catch and laid on the ground holding his knee. He was surrounded by teammates and promptly carted off the field. Shortly after, the Bears ruled him out for the game.

The injury occurred with just 5:31 remaining in regulation; it's unclear if the decision to rule out Kmet was due to the dwindling clock.

The tight end gave the crowd a thumbs up as he was carted back to the locker room.
