Free is a new app designed to let users easily coordinate plans with their friends when they have some free time. Users can suggest a plan, endorse an idea with a tap, invite others, and create reaction GIFs all from within the app. There are three status settings that can be easily changed to show contacts one's availability.
Free is available now in the iTunes App Store, and the app's developer Danny Trinh explained his motivations for creating Free in a post on Medium.
A few years ago, I found myself unexpectedly free on a long weekend. Most people I texted were out of town or busy. As I sat there unsuccessfully trying to make plans, I wondered: what if there was a fast and better way to see who was available?
