Renée James steps down as Intel president

The executive suite at Intel is getting a major shake-up today. President Reni(C)e James is leaving the company to pursue an external CEO role, according to an announcement by CEO Brian Krzanich. In a separate memo that the company made public, James says she'll remain at Intel for several more months to ensure a smooth transition period.
