Project Sunroof is a new tool from Google that lets users find potential energy savings by switching to solar power. The project uses Google Maps and information taken from other databases to show users possible configurations of solar panels on their home, and put them in contact with solar energy providers.
Currently, Project Sunroof is available in San Francisco Bay Area, Fresno CA and Greater Boston MA.
