iPhone preorders may beat records; iPad Pro supply could be limited

In a conversation with CNBC, an Apple representative revealed the company's expectations for iPhone 6S pre-orders. Though it didn't reveal exact pre-order sales numbers, Apple says it's on track to beat last year's first-weekend sales record of 10 million units, and some CNBC contributing analysts are forecasting roughly 12 million sold when the devices become available on September 25.
