Entertainment is an upcoming dark comedy featuring comedian Gregg Turkington and his Neil Hamburger character embarking on a tour of the California desert. Turkington is joined by John C. Reilly, Amy Seimetz, and Michael Cera as costars in the film. Entertainment will be released in theaters and digitally on November 13, 2015 through Magnolia Pictures.
An aging comedian tours the California desert, lost in a cycle of third-rate venues, novelty tourist attractions, and vain attempts to reach his estranged daughter. By day, he slogs through the barren landscape, inadvertently alienating every acquaintance. At night, he seeks solace in the animation of his onstage persona.
