An outage briefly forced Facebook offline on Thursday. The issue affected all platforms from around 5.30pm UK time.
A message posted on Facebook's platform status page read: "We're working with our core infrastructure teams to identify the issue and will update you when we have more information." By 6pm in London the site appeared to be accessible again.
