Ooho is an edible alternative to traditional plastic water bottles developed by Skipping Rocks Labs to reduce waste and save resources.

To create Ooho, water is frozen and then coated in a dual-layered membrane derived from seaweed. When the water melts, it is sealed in the sturdy and biodegradable coating. A thirsty individual would simply puncture the membrane to take a drink, and can then discard the membrane or simply eat it.
