Intel 750 Series SSD firmware update speeds up boot times

A while back, we reviewed Intel's 750 Series PCIe SSD and came away impressed by its performance. There was a fly in the ointment, though. For some inexplicable reason, booting an OS off one of these drives is pretty darn slow-at least, until today. Intel has released a firmware update for the 750 Series drives that should help alleviate the lengthy boot time issue.
