The Nobel prize for medicine award is announced on Monday at the Nobel Assembly, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. The award has gone to William C Campbell, Satoshi Amura and Youyou Tu for their work on developing medicines that fight malaria and infections caused by roundworm parasites.
