The Horizontal Falls, or Garaanngaddim in the local Worrorra language, are the centrepiece of one of two new marine parks proposed for a remote stretch of Western Australia's Kimberley region. It is one of the most pristine marine environments in the world, ranking alongside Antarctica and the Arctic in terms of freedom from human interference. The parks are in the saltwater country of the Dambimangari people
