‘Shake Cats’, A Beautiful Photo Series That Features Felines Shaking Off Water While Grooming

Animal photographer Carli Davidson has again expanded her wonderful "Shake" photo series to include those of the feline species, a project that took over four years to complete. Davidson utilized high-speed photography to capture, frame-by-frame, the unguarded reactions of different cats, including Lil Bub, as they shook off water and groomed themselves against black velvet backgrounds. Like her other series, "Shake Cats" has been made into a book and is available for purchase through Amazon.

Shake Cats includes more than 130 gorgeous, highly detailed color pictures of felines in mid-shake. Like its predecessors Shake and Shake Puppies, it showcases a charming double-page layout-each spread features two images of the same cat placed side by side to capture the unique movement of the shake.
