Tor Messenger chat client beta available

The Tor Project has announced the beta release of a new,off-the-record (OTR) chat client called Tor Messenger. As expected,chat session traffic is sent entirely over Tor. In addition, theapplication requires the use of OTR encryption-rather thanmerely providing it as an option. The beta is available for Linux,Windows, and Mac OS X systems.
