Netflix Socks That Automatically Pause a Show When the Viewer Falls Asleep While Watching

Netflix has created an online guide for building a pair of socks that will automatically pause a show when the viewer falls asleep while watching. The device works by using an accelerometer to detect when a person has stopped moving, once the viewer is asleep the socks send a signal to their television using built-in infrared LEDs.
The guide also includes knitting patterns inspired by Netflix original series like Jessica Jones, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and House of Cards.
