VIDEOS: Blues, Maple Leafs trade goals 5 seconds apart
A long blink may have prevented anyone watching the St. Louis Blues-Toronto Maple Leafs game Saturday from seeing a pair of goals at the Air Canada Centre.
Both teams couldn't find the net until the 28th minute of play when Vladimir Tarasenko wired his 23rd goal of the season past Jonathan Bernier.
That marker apparently opened the floodgates as James van Riemsdyk forced a turnover and sniped a quick wrister past Jake Allen to tie the game at one, with just five seconds coming off the clock.

Van Riemsdyk now has four goals in his past six games.
Two goals in :05 by both teams is quick, but not close to NHL record. STL (Gilmour) & BOS (Linseman) scored :02 apart on Dec. 19, 1987.
