A Beautiful Animated Homage to the Unrivaled HBO Series ‘The Wire’

Animator Elliot Lim has created a wonderful animated tribute to The Wire one of the greatest television shows ever aired. Using the soundtrack from the first season of the series, The Blind Boys of Alabama's version of the Tom Waits song "Down in the Hole", Lim's animation captures the grittiness and heart of the fictional Baltimore community portrayed in the show.
I designed and animated this piece as an homage to my favorite show of all time, HBO's The Wire.
