The device, produced by notorious cloner Meizu, actually worked better than a real iPod in that it was able to play Ogg Vorbis and other audio codecs that the real iPod couldn't. There were quite a few MP3 players that would play all kinds of different formats that were actually better quality than the iPods as I recall.
