The all-new PlayStation 5 is officially available for purchase, but finding a retailer that actually has stock of the new console available to buy isn't such an easy task just yet. With that being said, there are still plenty of opportunities to pick up the new PlayStation 5 or the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition if you give it just a bit of time and know where to keep looking. As of May 2021, we're noticing that the PlayStation 5 generally goes out of stock on the same day as it becomes available for purchase at most major online retailers. While that outlook may seem grim, the bright side is that retailers are consistently receiving stock of the console and you generally don't have to wait too long before they return in stock somewhere.TargetTarget is where you should purchase the PlayStation 5 when given the chance, since there's a way you can actually save $25 on its purchase there when you check out using the RedCard. There's a free debit version with no fees that every T...

Android 12 could bring some colorful themes to Google Assistant. What you need to knowA user managed to get a couple of new Google Assistant features working on his device. One feature seems to be related to Android 12's rumored theming system. The user also managed to get the "My Actions" shortcuts working.Since the first Android 12 developer preview was released for phones like the Google Pixel 5, a form of system-wide theming has been spotted as a colorful new way to customize your smartphone UI. One user may have just uncovered how deep the themes will go, showing how Google Assistant will appear with different colored backgrounds. In the screenshots (via XDA-Developers), the Google Assistant background appears in blue and different shades of green with a few accent colors. Can you survive the knowledge of the unknowable terrors lurking just beyond your dreams?I'm a big fan of nuance, innuendo, and puns, so games with names like Cultist Simulator, which tell you exactly what they are right in the title, are usually not my jam. I like a little mystery, you know? But I'm a diehard fan of anything that can be described as Lovecraftian, so I was willing to give Cultist Simulator a try — and thank Tsathoggua I did.The overall themes of the game are very much in line with the Lovecraft tradition. Dreams, madness, and monolithic entities lurking just beyond the horizon of mortal comprehension are all heavily featured here and are integral to the mystery and atmosphere of the game. If you're a fan of just about anything Lovecraft-adjacent, you'll definitely want to give this game a try. Playing Cultist Simulator is like putting together a vast puzzle, and this chaotic conspiracy board is well worth your time.In spite of its very on-the-nose title, C...

If you like platformers, this list is for you.A lot of you probably remember the heyday of the platformer. Whether it was Super Mario Bros or even classic Metroid, this style of game has been around a long time and it has aged incredibly well. We still see awesome platformer games like Trine and Hollow Knight to this day. The point, however, is that "platformer" isn't really all that definitive. All it does is describe how the game in question plays. Leaks point to a new direction.Yesterday the internet was abuzz with leaked renders of what is allegedly a radical new design direction from Google for its forthcoming Pixel 6 smartphones.According to the images shared by Jon Prosser, it appears that we're getting somewhat of a return to the two-toned rear panels that we had with the first three generations of Pixel phones, along with a fairly prominent and redesigned camera bump on the back. Not only that but there are also indications that we will see two Pixel 6 models, including a regular and a "Pro" model, which will supposedly bring back the larger sized phones we used to see in the Pixel XL variants.New designs in what has been one the most popular and best Android phones are sure to be polarizing, but I happen to really like what I see in these leaked renders. What about you? What do you think about the Pixel 6 design leaks?...

Foldables have recently become big in 2021. Well, not that big, but bigger and more viable than ever before. Time will tell whether they replace today's accepted form factors at large or whether they become something like convertible laptops which complement but do not supersede standard (and often-cheaper) designs. That being said, the growth of foldables has helped rejuvenate a couple of form factors that have either grown stale or are just flat-out obsolete. Want a tablet-lite for your Westworld fantasy? You can have one with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Want a clamshell so you can flick your phone closed aggressively after your 100th spam call? There's a RAZR for that. Want a shuriken or a scroll so you can be a modern ninja? Perhaps LG could have helped you out with the Wing or Rollable (RIP). Want something that flips and rolls? TCL has your fantasies covered.Foldables and non-traditional form factors are the future of mobile computing, and that future is fluid and brimming with cho...

New sensors, same bugs.In 2020, Fitbit announced several updates to existing products and even launched new hardware. One of the most interesting new wearables was the Fitbit Sense, and that means we're diving into our official Fitbit Sense review. It's hard to believe that the Fitbit Ionic — Fitbit's first actual smartwatch — was released over three years ago. Fitbit's come a long way in that short amount of time, finding ways to refine its hardware design, FitbitOS operating system, and create a compelling narrative as to why you should have a Fitbit watch on your wrist instead of a Galaxy Watch, something with Wear OS, or an Apple Watch if you're an iPhone owner.By late 2020, Fitbit's vision for the future of smartwatches culminated in the release of the Fitbit Sense. It does all of the usual Fitbit things like activity tracking, sleep monitoring, etc., but it comes with a bunch of extra sensors that are designed to help give you a more granular understanding of your body'...

This will keep the list of message threads on the left side of the display while displaying the current message on the right side. This should help make it easier to navigate the app when using any of the best Android tablets, letting users easily jump between threads. It'll now allow users to search their message threads with a new search bar that lives at the top of the direct messaging screen. The same bar came to its iOS app and the web a couple of years back, but the company is finally bringing it to its Android app.Once this rolls out, you'll be able to find any conversation in your direct messages inbox, as long as you know the name of the other party. If you'd chatted with Jeff from the bar two years ago, you'd normally have to scroll all the way down. This time, you can type in "Jeff", and watch the search bar do the rest of the work.
