App icons are different shapes, sizes, and color schemes and follow different design guidelines. Samsung's icons look different than Google's icons, look different from Microsoft's icons, look different from every other developer's icons. Adaptive icons have sought to bring some order to this chaos, but with little luck. Thankfully, icon packs are here to pick up the slack. Icon packs are plentiful, colorful, and they come in every style under the sun. Though TikTok was given an extension on the ban pending a potential purchase from Oracle and Walmart, WeChat was not given the same extension according to TechCrunch. In a last-minute order, U.S. District Court Judge Laurel Beeler of San Francisco District Court stayed the ban. A group of WeChat users, named in the order as the U.S. WeChat Users Alliance, argued that because WeChat is used by U.S. citizens to communicate with friends and family, the ban infringes on free speech rights of Americans.Judge Beeler's opinion states: Certainly the government's overarching national-security interest is significant. Unlike other major sports leagues such as the NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS which were forced to postpone their seasons or change their schedules due to the pandemic, the NFL got lucky because its 2019-20 season ended back in February. The league is set to resume play on Thursday, September 10 and we have all the details on how you can stream all 250+ games this season. The 2020-21 NFL season is already shaping up to be a bit different than past seasons since all of the preseason games have been cancelled. Instead of playing exhibition games, NFL teams started their training camps late and they will now go directly from training to week 1 of the regular season.Thankfully though, the schedule for the NFL's regular season remains unchanged and each team will play 16 games during a 17-week period. As usual, there will also be Bye Weeks where each team will get a week off between weeks 5 and 13 to rest and recover before returning to the fray. Bye Weeks are not determined by the teams themselve...

We're still in the early days of the foldable phone re-emergence, but there are a couple of options available if you want to buy-in. These are no longer concepts or prototypes, they're complete phones that are on store shelves just like any other. Right now, the best overall option is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, but it's far from your only option. These are the best foldable phones you can buy.Best Foldable Phone Overall: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is by far the most refined foldable currently on the market. It improves massively upon the hinge of the original Fold, and can stay open at various angles to use certain software features in unique ways. The cover display takes up the entire face of the device, and while it's a bit narrow compared to most phones, that helps keep it relatively useable one-handed, since the phone is particularly thick when folded shut. The inner display features Samsung's Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) screen covering, making it more durab...

While neither of these sides were unfancied going into the new campaign, both showed encouraging signs in their opening matches in week 1 - read on for full details on how to watch Chicago Bears vs New York Giants, no matter where you are in the world. While slow to get going, the Bears made a spirited rally against the Detroit Lions, with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky leading the way in their fourth-quarter comeback. It marked the first time that the Bears had scored 21 points in the fourth quarter since 2014, but coach Matt Nagy will be expecting his side to get into gear much earlier at home on Sunday.Sunday's game sees the Giants head back to Soldier Field, where they lost 19-14 last November. That match saw the Giants lead at halftime, 7-3, but then conceded 16 unanswered points in the third quarter. While they ultimately succumbed 16-26 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, the Giants nevertheless held their own for large parts of the game against one of the league's bes...

Both the 49ers and Jets dropped their NFL 2020 season openers and so each is looking to redeem its current standings with a win on September 20. While there isn't just one thing each team needs to improve from week one to week two, the performances of Sam Darnold and Jimmy Garoppolo could stand to be taken up a notch.Garoppolo looked a bit sloppy against the Cardinals despite his 250+ yards, two touchdown pases, and no interceptions. If the 49ers' offense can tighten things up, the team should be able to take it to the next level and give the Jets a serious threat. Of course, there's also the consideration of George Kittle's health at the moment. For New York, they need a healthy and productive performance from Le'Veon Bell or whoever ends up handling the running back duties.San Fransisco can have problems blocking the run and the Jets need to exploit that vulnerability where possible. Will the Jets benefit from playing at home if no fans are in the stands? It's hard to tell, alt...

Google needs to set a proper example for widgets or it needs to hire someone who can.I've been theming my Android phones since before I knew what widgets even were. While Android home screens have continually evolved — launchers have continued to improve and icon packs get bigger and better — there's one aspect of the home screen that has remained painfully, abominably stagnant: widgets.Widgets offer up amazing utility and potential for customization, but only if app developers actually take the time to make them functional, scale-able, and beautiful.I had hoped back in the spring that iOS 14's widgets would spur Android widgets forward, that this would remind developers and Google itself that widgets can get great when done right. Well, summer has passed, iOS 14 is finally here, and what do we have to show for it? Proof positive that Google cares more about widgets on iPhone than Android. It’s very Google to make a nicer widget for iPhone than the one that’s on Androi...

Both the Rams and the Eagles enter week two of the NFL 2020 season prepared to improve on their week one starts. Philadelphia led Washington by 17 at the half and ended up allowing 27 unanswered points for their first loss under new head coach Doug Pederson. While the Rams managed to pull off a win for their season opener against the Cowboys, it was close. With a score of 17 to 20 most fans think the referees were responsible for stopping Dallas from scoring again rather than the Rams defense.Going head-to-head, Philadelphia could really benefit from Wentz to have a much better game. Ideally, Wentz will complete more than half his passes and can avoid multiple interceptions in game two. Still, the Rams are traveling across the country for the Eagles' home opener and Pederson might just have McVay's card. If you're a betting person the Eagles do have a slight favor for some of those reasons so it could be quite the matchup.Rams vs. Eagles: Where and when?Rams will take on the Ea...

Follow along with all of the action wherever you are with our Udinese vs Juventus live stream guide.Juventus secured a record ninth consecutive and 36th overall Serie A title last term, winning the league by a single point. In fact, it was a win against Sampdoria last season that secured the title for Ronaldo and Co. with two games remaining.Juve went 14 games unbeaten to begin the 2019/20 season which set them up for success later down the line, though new Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo will be without key players Paulo Dybala and Matthijs de Ligt due to injury for this opening game.Conversely, Sampdoria finished 15th last season, seven points above the relegation zone. OnePlus Nord has everything you're looking for in a mid-range phone in 2020.OnePlus is at its best in the value segment. The company is making decent strides in challenging Samsung and Google in the high-end category with the OnePlus 8 series, but their pricing makes them inaccessible to a wide swathe of the audience. That's why it's exciting to see OnePlus once again turning its attention to the sub-$500 segment with the Nord. The Nord delivers all the features that you'd expect from a OnePlus flagship — superb hardware, elegant design, clean software, and a lag-free experience — and it does so for several hundred dollars less than the OnePlus 8. With flagships steadily increasing in price, the Nord shows that you can get a comparable experience to $1,000 phones at half the cost. The hardware itself is obviously great and you should have no issues with the Nord in day-to-day usage, but the differentiator for OnePlus is the software. With two guaranteed platform updates and t...

Don't miss a moment with our Chelsea vs Liverpool live stream guide.Chelsea opened their Premier League account last weekend with a win away at Brighton. Goals from Jorginho, Reece James, and Kurt Zouma secure the three points for The Pensioners in that 3-1 victory.Frank Lampard will want his side to continue the good form, though they'll face a tough test against Liverpool. He's also without a number of players through injury or fitness concerns including Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech. Lampard also confirmed new signings Ben Chilwell and Thiago Silva won't feature, though Timo Werner is fit to play after recovering from a dead leg on his debut.Liverpool also won their first game of the season, though newly-promoited Leeds United will have given The Reds a fright at Anfield. Ligue 1 is well underway in France as champions Paris Saint-Germain travel to OCG Nice's Allianz Riviera. Follow along with all of the action wherever you are with our Nice vs PSG live stream guide.PSG have had a dismal start to their 2020/21 campaign. The side lost their first two games, including a defeat against newly-promoted Lens in their first game and a chaotic Le Classique loss with Marseille that saw the referee brandish 14 yellow cards and five red cards.Despite picking up another red card, the Parisians did bounce back against FC Metz in their last outing with a 1-0 win giving them their first points this year. If Thomas Tuchel's side is to replicate the domestic treble of last year, the form and discipline needs to be improved quickly. On the other hand, OGC Nice started strongly with two wins to open the season, beating Lens and Strasbourg. In their last outing, however, the team fell 3-1 to Montpellier leaving the side in seventh-place going into this game.Read o...

If you're looking to tune in to see the Citadel Bulldogs take on the Clemson Tigers, there's a good chance you already know what's going to happen. While Citadel managed to beat Georgia Tech last year and even slowed USF's start last week, almost no one expects Clemson to lose this matchup — the betting line is around 46 points.Citadel needs Brandon Rainey to come through in a big way if they want to put a dent in the final score. Rainey only completed around a quarter of his passes in week one against South Florida University and didn't have any touchdowns. Completed passes will be key to keep the ball moving down the field and compliment the team's 200 yard average of rushing yards per game.As for Clemson, Trevor Lawrence is looking really good already this year. He is completing over 70% of his passes and doesn't have an interception yet. There's not much the Tigers likely need to adjust for in this game to make things go their way. Still, this is their 2020 home opener and ...

The Miami Hurricanes visit the Louisville Cardinals in an NCAA matchup Saturday, September 19. The Cardinals are coming into the 2020 season with an AP ranking of 18, its first since 2017. Looking to capitalize on its first win of the year and remain undefeated Louisville will face tough competition from Miami who got the best of them last year. Still, the Cardinals have an outstanding offensive and a defense that is increasingly getting better which should help even the scales.Manny Diaz has said he won't let his Hurricanes get cocky over the team's 52-27 win over Louisville last year. A lot can change in a year and instead of resting the team is looking to quarterback Micale Cunningham and running back Javian Hawkins to rake in the yards. Another weapon the Hurricanes hold is wide receiver Tutu Atwell who can help the passing game.Ranked number 17, Miami should be well matched to Louisville, but each team will need to play high calibre football if they hope to beat the other....

The benefits are starting to outweigh the drawbacks.I'm always excited to see new form factors start to emerge in tech. Gadgets like foldables or even dual-screen devices recall a more experimental time before the ubiquitous glass slab smartphones we know today, and they come with unique new use cases that can eventually influence the entire mobile industry. But naturally, with new ideas come various problems and setbacks. The necessary materials for foldable displays, including thin, flexible glass and plastic, aren't as durable as the glass used on most smartphones, and with so many moving parts, these gadgets can't be water-resistant, either. You'll also inevitably run into apps that don't support the often-unusual aspect ratios of foldable phones, which can lead to letterboxing, poor scaling, or some combination of the two. Using the Galaxy Z Fold 2 mostly feels like using any other phone. That's a big deal.Foldables are very much still a work in progress, as companies ...
