Ring has been the center of a lot of attention (both good and bad) in the recent months, but the company continues to push new products out, and the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus is one of them. It introduces a few features that people have been wanting for a while, and after using it for just a few days I started to really enjoy the experience.I've had several Ring doorbells in the past, and have a house full of Ring cameras and even the Alarm. I swapped out a Ring Video Doorbell Pro to test out the Video Doorbell 3 Plus, and aside from a few annoyances, I am extremely happy with the switch.Let's break this new video doorbell down in a little more detail, and see if it may be a good option for you as well.At a glanceRing Video Doorbell 3 Plus ...

The Mi Box 4K could just become the go-to option for those looking for an Android TV-based streaming box in India.Xiaomi is slowly but surely making its foray into the lifestyle segment in India. Xiaomi says that 46% of all TVs sold in the country don't have any smart features at all, with that number translating to 34 million units. Then the...

Skip the Zoom drama and Meet a better way to video chat.Living alone, the only way I see my friends and family right now is video chatting apps, and there certainly are plenty to choose from these days. Zoom has been the in-vogue video app of the last several weeks, but since that Google Meet is free for everyone this summer, you should absolutely move your chats over to Meet instead. While Google Meet was built for enterprise as a way to host weekly staff meetings and host company-wide briefings, it has several advantages for the everyday chat with your parents or that weekly coffee gossip your mom has with her friends. No plugins or desktop apps requiredThe first and biggest reason to jump over to Meet is that Zoom requires you to install either an app or a browser extension (depending on your device), and even then, Zoom can still get wonky unless you turn off your pop-up blocker, which most browsers leave on by default these days because pop-ups are the absolute worst.G...

Best answer: Even though Google is making its video conferencing platform Meet free, you'll still technically need a Google account to use it. I say technically, because there is at least one way you can use Meet without an account, which we'll address below.Desktop version: Google Meet (See at Google)Mobile app: Google Meet (See at Google Play Store)What is Google Meet?Google Meet (formerly Hangouts Meet) is part of Google's enterprise-level software offerings known as G Suite. As an enterprise product, G Suite is not a free service; rather, it is a paid service whose fees are based on the number of users in an organization. While Google is planning on making a version of Meet available for free in direct response to the meteoric rise in popularity of services like Zoom, the version that non-enterprise users will be getting is scaled back in some areas. For example, free Meet sessions will be limited to one-hour increments, and features like dial-in phone numbers and the...

Fans of Rick and Morty have a whole new show to check out from series co-creator Justin Roiland. Kicking off the next generation of wireless. All of the major U.S. carriers are hard at work on their 5G strategy. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have launched 5G networks and are aggressively expanding those networks through 2019. 5G service not only provides faster speeds but also reduced response times allowing for new services and cloud computing not previously available.
