ATO Releases Tax Information for Tech Companies

The Australia Tax Office released the tax records for a number of tech companies showing how much tax they have paid. Surprisingly, some tech companies paid less tax than average Australians. Lenovo had a reported income of $372,184,669 yet paid tax of just $39,703. Interestingly, a local major ISP - TPG - paid $79,785,507 in tax which is 8.18% of their income, by comparison.
