There had been hints here and there that Crytek's CryENGINE would offer official linux support in the future. This has now been
confirmed with a post on Crytek's website, announcing that GDC attendees could see this version of the engine in action, though there is no mention of the games that would be shown running in linux.
I think quite a few people must be happy to see this. Star Citizen on linux, anyone?
