A group linked to al-Qaeda has shared video of gunmen attacking Mali's main airport.

Attack on police training academy and nearby airport one of the worst since unrest began more than a decade ago.

This is the first major attack on Bamako since 2015 when fighters targeted foreigners in a nightclub and hotel.
