US president says EU not complying' with current trade deal, launches new tariffs to begin next week.

Trump has threatened to increase tariffs on EU cars and trucks exported to the US from 15 percent to 25 percent.

US says it will hike tariffs to 25% because the EU has not complied with trade deal last year that set tariffs at 15%.
