Viasat, TTP, and Frequentis have successfully conducted an Iris RPAS flight trial to evaluate future satellite connectivity and UTM integration for BVLOS drone operations. Supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), the trial provides critical real-world evidence on how resilient, multilink networks can ensure safety-critical data exchange and seamless airspace integration in complex, remote environments.
